reiki Master/
teacher Training in Calgary
Next Class January 22, 23 & 24, 2027
DEEPEN YOUR PRACTICE. GROW INTO MASTERY. LEARN HOW TO TEACH REIKI.
Reiki Master/Teacher training is for Reiki Level 2 practitioners who have spent time practicing, integrating what they’ve learned and are ready to go deeper.
Mastery doesn’t mean having all the answers. It means taking greater responsibility for your own practice, continuing your personal growth and developing a deeper understanding of how Reiki fits into your life.
And knowing Reiki isn’t the same as knowing how to teach it.
During this training, we work on both. We will deepen your own Reiki practice and develop the practical skills to guide, teach and support other people as they learn.
Questions are welcome. Practice is expected. You don’t need to arrive already feeling like a Reiki Master or an experienced teacher.
You bring the experience you already have. We build from there.
three Days. One Integrated Master/Teacher Level.

Reiki Master Level
8:30 to 5:30pm
Master-level training begins with your own Reiki practice.
We go deeper into Master-level Reiki teachings, symbols, personal practice, responsibility and integration.
You’ll have time to reflect on what Mastery means for you, how your Reiki practice has developed and where you want it to go from here.
This is also where we make room for deeper personal practices, including breathwork, reflection and continued self-development.
Mastery begins with your own practice.
Reiki Teacher level
8:30-5:30pm
Teacher-level training begins with learning how to pass Reiki attunements.
We’ll break down the process of passing attunements for all levels step by step, demonstrate it, practice it and give you time to become familiar with the sequence yourself.
We’ll also introduce the practical side of preparing to teach Reiki, including how to organize and structure a class, work from a course outline and what needs to be included when preparing your own training.
Teaching Reiki is more than knowing the material.
practice and facilitation
8:30 to 5:30pm
Teaching Reiki means knowing how to guide a room, explain what you know clearly and support people as they learn.
You’ll practice teaching concepts, demonstrating techniques, guiding activities, answering questions and adapting when someone needs more support or the class takes an unexpected turn.
You’ll also have opportunities to practice teaching, receive feedback and begin developing a facilitation style that feels clear, grounded and natural to you.
You learn to facilitate and teach by facilitating and teaching.
Becoming a Reiki Master/Teacher doesn’t mean you’ll leave knowing everything there is to know about Reiki.
You will leave with a deeper understanding of your own practice, practical experience and a stronger foundation for teaching and supporting others.
You’ll leave knowing how to:
Deepen and continue your own Master-level Reiki practice
Work with the Master-level teachings and symbols within the Usui Reiki tradition I teach
Understand Mastery as an ongoing practice of responsibility, integration and personal growth
Prepare for and pass Reiki attunements for all levels
Structure and plan a Reiki class
Create clear lesson plans and learning activities
Explain Reiki concepts without making them more complicated than they need to be
Demonstrate practical skills and guide students as they practice
Work with different learning styles and individual needs
Respond to questions without believing you need to have every answer
Create clear agreements, expectations and boundaries
Support students through uncertainty, questions and practice
Facilitate a learning environment where people can participate without feeling they have to perform
Practice teaching and use feedback to continue developing
Use your manual and teaching materials when you need a reference
Continue growing into your own way of practicing and teaching Reiki
You’ll also Receive:
Your Usui Reiki Master/Teacher manual
Additional Master/Teacher course handouts, materials and teaching resources
Your Reiki Master/Teacher certification
My intention for you is to leave class and say to yourself:
I understand what Mastery means in my own Reiki practice.
I know how to keep deepening my practice.
I understand the responsibility that comes with teaching Reiki.
I have practical skills and resources I can use when I teach.
I know I can keep learning, practicing and growing from here.
WHAT YOU’LL LEAVE WITH
You have somewhere to come back to
Becoming a Reiki Master/Teacher doesn’t mean you stop being a student.
Your relationship with Reiki continues to develop through practice, questions, experience and time.
You’re always welcome at the free monthly Reiki Shares, where you can practice, receive Reiki, ask questions, connect with other practitioners and continue learning.
And when something needs more time, whether it’s your own practice, confidence, teaching, class planning or something you’re working through, Reiki mentoring is available for deeper individual support.
You don’t have to figure everything out alone.

Your Questions, Answered
-
Yes. Reiki Master/Teacher builds on the foundation and practice developed through Reiki Level 1 & 2.
You should have experience practicing and using Reiki before moving into Master/Teacher level work.
-
There isn’t one timeline that fits everyone.
What matters is that you’ve had time to practice Reiki, integrate what you learned and develop some real experience using it.
If you’re wondering whether you’re ready, contact me and we can talk about where your practice is now.
-
No.
The Master portion of the training focuses on your own Reiki practice, personal growth, responsibility and integration.
Teacher preparation is included because Reiki Master/Teacher is one integrated level within the tradition I teach.
Whether, when or how you eventually teach Reiki is your decision.
You may not want to teach today and discover you want to teach in the future. You’ll be ready when that happens.
-
In the Reiki tradition I teach, Reiki Master and Reiki Teacher are one integrated level.
Mastery focuses first on your own relationship with Reiki.
Teacher preparation builds from there and gives you the skills to share Reiki with others if and when you choose to.
-
No.
There is theory to learn, of course, although the heart of this training is hands-on experiential practice.
You’ll practice using the symbols, giving attunements, trying various teaching approaches, handling common class situations, and refining your facilitation skills through live practice.
-
Absolutely.
You’ll learn how to prepare for and pass Reiki attunements and you’ll have the time and opportunity to practice the process during class.
-
Yes.
I believe attunements can only be passed in person directly from teacher to student.
-
You are welcome here.
I’ll invite you to contact me before registering so we can talk about the training you’ve completed, what you were taught and ensure my approach to the Master Teacher level is what you are looking for.
-
Your Reiki Master/Teacher training takes place in my home studio in southeast Calgary. To protect personal privacy, the exact street address and parking instructions will be emailed to you once your registration is confirmed.
-
Of course not.
I ask that you have experience practicing Reiki, using the symbols, and have a desire to deepen your practice.
I invite your questions and uncertainty as this is part of the growth process.
-
That’ll depend on whether you already have teaching and facilitation experience.
You’ll leave class with the training, resources and practical foundation to begin developing as a Reiki teacher.
Teaching confidence grows the same way Reiki confidence does, through preparation, practice and experience.
You are not expected to walk out the door and teach a class.
-
Of course!
I expect you’ll have questions after class and I invite you to reach out to me.
You’re always welcome to attend the free monthly Reiki Shares.
And if you want deeper individualized help with your Reiki practice, teaching, class development or confidence, 1:1 Reiki mentoring is available too.
-
Of course!
